I love my new Gilkey windows. I purchased 7 windows. They are good quality and look good. Marcin and Ziggy did a great job installing them. They help block the uv rays. The double panes help decrease the noise of the freight trains which run very close to my home often all day and night.

Marcin and Ziggy were fast, thorough, efficient and professional when they installed our windows! They did a great job. Gilkey is a great company to work with and they have excellent customer service and friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Very pleased with our new sliding glass doors. More expensive than others but well worth the money. Installer (Andrew) was excellent at answering my questions during installation.

If replacing windows with your current INSIDE mount window treatments, more than likely they will not fit leading you to buy new window treatments $$$.

Martin and Ziggy did a fabulous job installing our front window. The window is very large and the 2 of them installed it quickly and professionally. They also left both the inside and outside of our home spotless!

We purchased a home with Gilkey windows. Windows are now 25 years installed and are FANTASTIC!
Energy efficient doesn't do them justice, they control heat and cool (sometimes I think better than my walls.)
But the BIGGEST plus for me is they are SO EASY to clean!!
The opening and fold-down design allows for easy access to both inside and outside of the window/frame.
Once or twice a year I vacuum the frames and check the drain holes, wipe the frames and windows down, and then clean with a window cleaner.
Customer Service is TOP NOTCH! Every time I have contacted Gilkey Windows I am met with friendly, happy and extremely helpful staff.
Screening replacement of screen frames was easy and FAST.

Marcin & Ziggy, thank you for an excellent installation earlier this week on a picture window and a half-circle above it. These two windows were at the second level in a great room right above a steep pitched roof line. You arrived at the scheduled time. You quickly set up the equipment. You were efficient, didn't waste any time. Your team partnership was excellent. When one was at the window, the other was prepping for the next step, and so on. You reinstalled the window treatments as well so I don't have to climb a 10ft ladder.

You told me what to do/not to do in the next 24 hours. You left the worksite clean, both inside and outside. I saw you blowing away even a small amount of saw dust that fell on the grass outside. Our HOA manager who stopped by for inspection was happy as well. His repeatedly told me "They did a good job."

To Gilkey, The scheduling was easy and within a week of making the call. I liked the fact that you are a "one stop solution for windows" (sell, manufacture, install and service). No aggressive sales pitches. Both sales and install teams were courteous and approachable. I visited your showroom in Palatine, IL and enjoyed looking at the actual window examples and talking to the folks there. We are looking forward to enjoying our new windows.

Well, we also got new windows in our kitchen, dining area and master bath. What an amazing difference they make, the view is awesome and even with the sun beating in on a 90 degree day you cannot feel any heat coming through the glass. Our last installer was Alex, a young man with great work ethic. He worked 12 hours to get all our windows installed in one day, and he worked for at least 10 of those hours alone. His attention to detail and desire for a perfect install is commendable. Thank you Alex for your dedication to your craft. Thanks to Gilkey for their fine products.

Kent from Gilkey arrived on time he was very knowledgeable did not try to oversell me something I didn’t want …very explanatory to where I could understand. Did not rush me showed me all the products explained what everything meant. I did select to go with his company because renewal by Anderson was twice as much money the second place I got a Estimate from told me I had to get my own permits and it was still more money than what I was quoted by Kent very professional very easy to talk to …very easy to understand. I would recommend this company to anybody if I can give more stars I would give more stars.

Gilkey window are a great investment for your home. First, they look great on the inside and on the outside. Second, the noise level has been reduced. This helps because we live near O’Hare airport. What a difference! Third, the UV sunlight has been reduced with the tinted windows. This will help protect our wooden floors and our furniture. Last but not least, the work crew, Marcin, Ziggy and Myrula were amazing! Installed all windows in our house in less than 7 hours and left my house clean! Gilkey is a great company to do business with, they installed a window 6 years ago and their were issues with the aluminum capping Gilkey came over and replaced it for no charge . Alex and his team member did a great job highly recommend the company.

Also when I visited the showroom, I got so much clarity as to which windows I should go with. Justin, Brian and his crew were very professional and quick in their process of measurement and installing the windows. They are so experienced (glad I listened that they would come in on a day that’s not raining and kept things dry) and completed the installation of all 19 windows within two and a half days.
